About the artist

Born in Cambridge, MA to Jamaican-born parents, King Fiya began experimenting with music creation when he was around ten years old. Though he didn’t take it seriously initially, he noticed he had a knack for song creation and clever word schemes. His parents always encouraged him to pursue his dreams, and with the passing of his mother in 2015, he decided to take his craft more seriously. Since her passing, Fiya has released three solo projects: Money Dreaming, Benefits, and Money Season. Fiya was featured on the cover of Scout Magazine which was distributed to every home in his hometown of Cambridge. He also was nominated for the Boston Music Awards 617 Sessions song of the year for his song "Game Room.”
