Learn about plant propagation with horticulturist Grace Coburn and take home a few beautiful plant cuttings to grow in your home or office.

About this event

This event is inspired by the 2013 MindHandHeart event at MIT, with many plants from Kendall Flower Shop.

Grace Coburn is a horticulturist based in Boston and Cape Cod. She has an extensive background in public horticulture and fine gardening and has lent her green thumb to some of the most beautiful green spaces in Massachusetts including the gardens at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Grace runs a small horticultural design and consulting business, Old Dog Design.

Registration recommended! Don't forget your water bottle, there is a bottle filler in the Open Space!

Keeping us safe: This event will follow all MIT policies and Covid safety guidelines. Face coverings are not required outdoors for vaccinated individuals, but you are most welcome to wear one if you wish. For unvaccinated individuals, wearing a face covering outdoors is required when unable to maintain 3 feet of physical distance.

Physical distancing will be encouraged at this event. More info on MIT policies can be found at now.mit.edu/policies.
