LEAP Lab: Isabel and the Invisible World

  • Kendall/MIT Open Space 292 Main Street Cambridge, MA 02142 (map)

Due to rain in the forecast, this program has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Join us to celebrate Isabel and the Invisible World with colorful, hands-on art activities and a reading by The New York Times best-selling author and MIT Professor Alan Lightman. This event is presented in collaboration with MIT Kids Press, an imprint of Candlewick Press, and the MIT Press Bookstore.

Young readers rejoice! Free copies of Isabel and the Invisible World will be distributed at the event, while supplies last. Please choose “Free Ticket + Book” to reserve your copy, limited to one per household.

All ages are welcome but activities are geared towards ages 3-10. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Responsible adults, please keep a close eye on your kids.

  • Keeping us safe: This event will follow all MIT policies and Covid safety guidelines. Face coverings are not required, but you are most welcome to wear one if you wish. More info on MIT policies can be found at now.mit.edu/policies.
