POSTPONED - LEAP Lab: Again, Again!

  • Kendall/MIT Open Space 292 Main Street Cambridge, MA 02142 (map)

This event has been postponed due to rain in the forecast for Saturday, September 25.

Learn Explore and Play (LEAP)!

Again, Again! Iterative Design with Recycled Materials. This program invites participants to invent unique creations using cardboard, tape, rope, fabric, and other reusable supplies.

About this event

The group will generate a variety of prompts and think creatively about how sustainable materials can be used. They will make prototypes, test them, analyze their builds, work to refine their designs, or decide to make something completely different with the same materials.

This program will be led by Graham Yeager, whose arts practice uses sculpture, performance, drawing and printmaking to create excuses to talk with people. Graham is a Technical Instructor for Fabrication at MIT’s Art, Culture, and Technology (ACT) program.

All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Keeping us safe: This event will follow all MIT policies and Covid safety guidelines. Face coverings are not required outdoors for vaccinated individuals, but you are most welcome to wear one if you wish. For unvaccinated individuals, wearing a face covering outdoors is required when unable to maintain 3 feet of physical distance.

Physical distancing will be encouraged at this event. More info on MIT policies can be found at now.mit.edu/policies.
