Speed Networking with Artists and Creatives!

  • Kendall/MIT Open Space 292 Main Street Cambridge, MA 02142 (map)

Due to the hot weather in the forecast, this event will take place inside the MIT Welcome Center (adjacent to the Kendall/MIT Open Space) at 292 Main Street.

This event is presented in collaboration with Cambridge Arts and the Arts & Cultural Planning Director of the City of Cambridge.

Join us for informal, outdoor speed networking, build your professional network, and learn more about how the City of Cambridge supports local artists and creatives. In this 45-minute activity, participants will make numerous contacts in a short period of time, with an opportunity to exchange contact information if desired. At the end of the session, we welcome you to stick around and chat further, or go grab lunch with a new connection.

People of all ages, backgrounds, and industries are warmly welcomed. If you’re able, please download the LinkedIn app and have your QR code pulled up and ready to share when you arrive. If you prefer to keep it old-school, business cards are also welcomed!

  • Keeping us safe: This event will follow all MIT policies and Covid safety guidelines. Face coverings are not required, but you are most welcome to wear one if you wish. More info on MIT policies can be found at now.mit.edu/policies.
