Come play with us! ScreenTime is an interactive projection experience that will bring a game of "Pong" to the Open Space. This pilot is part of a series by PlayCity, and incorporates generative graphics and IoT sensors to gamify MIT’s campus.

Stay warm with hot cocoa and hot apple cider. If you think of it, bring your own mug to keep things sustainable!

About PlayCity

ScreenTime is a proposal by Zhifei and Thaddeus, both Masters of Architecture students at the School of Architecture and Planning. Working under the moniker "PlayCity", they research and develop urban gamification as a means to solve issues of urban engagement and participation.  Since the start of their collaboration at a IAP 2020 workshop with Professor Brent Ryan (DUSP), they have participated in several design competitions, and have had their work recently published in Domus China.
