Due to rainy weather in Wednesday’s forecast, this program is rescheduled to Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
Spend your lunch hour grooving to acclaimed drummer-vocalist Lumanyano Mzi and his unique brand of South African-infused jazz.
Presented in partnership with Cambridge-based New England Jazz Collaborative.

Originally from Cape Town but now based in Boston, Lumanyano Mzi is joined for this special event by rising star bassist Ciara Moser and guitarist Amaury Cabral Jorge. Lumanyano's musical journey began at six years old playing drums in his father's reggae band. With a wide range of musical experiences now under his belt, including performances with an impressive list of local and international artists, Lumanyano has become a passionate and collaborative force, always eager to explore new sounds and connect with fellow artists.
